Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC seeks a Senior Director of Operations to lead the design, construction, commissioning, and scaled production of a new manufacturing facility focused on UAVs and air-launched munitions.

This role oversees a multi-product line, manages a capital budget >$150M, and guides a workforce of 200+; job scope includes NPI, safety compliance, and strategic facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Master - Preferred (10+ years of production management experience may substitute)
• Bachelor - Required; Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield or major brownfield factory construction projects from groundbreaking to startup
• Provide strategic operational leadership for major segments of the organization
• Direct Operations' contributions to programs including cost, schedule, quality, and performance commitments
• Oversee creation, approval, and execution of Operations program plans and production strategies
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements within proposals and manufacturing readiness
• Ensure OSHA PSM, ATF FFL/FEL, EHS compliance and lead corrective-action programs
• Drive day-to-day throughput, on-time delivery, and efficient labor and facility utilization
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, regulators, and partners
• Travel domestically and occasionally internationally to support transitions and coordination
