Job summary

The role supervises the site leadership team, drives continuous improvement, and manages budgets and assets. The candidate will coordinate with sales and other departments to meet customer satisfaction, implement cost-saving measures, and drive productivity improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business, industrial engineering, distribution, or related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in distribution/production.
• Minimum five (5) years in management/supervisory position.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering, HR laws and regulations, and employee relations.
• Experience managing other managers.

Responsibilities

• Manages all plant distribution efforts to ensure timely and cost effective delivery.
• Ensures standards for product quality, equipment and operator performance are maintained.
• Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs; alerts management to overrun.
• Plans and manages budgets within the Operations function.
• Provides direction to the Operations Team and leads site leadership for Richmond, VA.
• Revises objectives and plans per current business conditions.
