Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
• OR 2 years experience as Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising and promoting associates; OR 4 years in a senior management role in operations/logistics/retail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing to drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility.
• Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands and monitor budget and asset utilization.
• Ensure facility-wide compliance with logistics, quality and safety standards by developing and distributing procedures.
• Supervise and manage associates and leaders, provide feedback, identify training needs, and participate in hiring and promotion.
• Serve as a community liaison, participate in local organizations, and champion Walmart-sponsored programs.
