Job summary

GN Group in Shakopee, MN, is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to direct and optimize our distribution/warehouse functions. You will drive strategic initiatives, manage leaders and supervisors, and ensure cost, quality, and efficiency targets are met.

The role requires strong regulatory awareness and continuous improvement mindset. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in operations leadership, 5+ years in inventory management, and familiarity with D365 WMS and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in distribution/warehouse.
• 5+ years of hands-on inventory management experience with stock accuracy focus.
• Experience in regulatory environments (ISO/FDA) and Lean practices is preferred.
• Experience in domestic and global supply chain operations including transportation and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, execution, coordination, and success for direct areas.
• Support senior leaders with decision making, coaching, and technical support.
• Manage first-level managers and supervisors; mentor and develop teams.
• Oversee cost, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery for direct areas.
• Develop continuous improvement culture to meet profitability and efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with the Director to set strategic vision for operations.
• Develop staffing plans and participate in hiring and training.
• Communicate product changes, quality issues, and customer concerns.
