Job summary

GN is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager in Shakopee, MN to lead divisional operations, manage supervisors, and drive on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

You will develop talent, ensure compliance with quality standards, and guide Lean improvements to meet strategic objectives. The role requires 8+ years in ops leadership in a distribution/warehouse setting, 5+ years in inventory management, and experience with ERP/WMS platforms like D365 WMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on inventory management expertise with strong shrink reduction.
• Experience with reverse logistics including returns processing, refurbishment, and disposition strategies.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS platforms, especially D365 WMS.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA regulations, and Lean manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead divisional operations team and supervise managers to drive performance and accountability.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations with optimal use of space, resources, and staffing.
• Develop staff and bench strength with mentoring for future managers.
• Control costs, quality, throughput, and employee engagement across direct areas.
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with profitability and cost targets.
• Collaborate on strategic vision with the division director and communicate issues effectively.
• Plan staffing, recruit for open positions, and support training needs.
• Communicate product changes, quality issues, and customer concerns to the team.
