Job summary

Walsh Jesuit High School is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer to lead facilities, transportation, IT and food service operations. You will supervise a diverse operations team, drive capital projects, and partner with the President to align resources with the school’s Jesuit mission.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in operations leadership, budgeting, and contracts, with strong communication and Catholic values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years operations management, facilities management or similar leadership role plus at least five years management experience.
• Experience managing budgets and contracts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent computer and data management skills and proven success of networking and relationship development.
• Practicing Christian who embraces Catholic spirituality and values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility management including buildings, grounds, infrastructure, maintenance, safety, and compliance.
• Lead transportation management to ensure safe, timely student and staff travel and route optimization.
• Collaborate with IT to guide budget, implementation, and security of school technology infrastructure.
• Manage food service operations with the partner, ensuring health and nutritional standards.
• Direct administrative processes and budgeting across facilities, transportation, food services and IT.
• Support faith formation and align operations with the school’s mission and Jesuit identity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field

Master's degree preferred
