Abraxas Youth & Family Services in Shelby, Ohio seeks a Senior Operations Leader to oversee daily activities across units, mentor leaders, and ensure safety and workflow efficiency. This full-time role pays $28/hour with DailyPay available.

You will supervise scheduling, training, and orientation, drive policy implementation, and coordinate with supervisors to support clients and staff while advancing organizational goals. Join a mission-driven team and grow across service lines.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring skills for Youth Development Team Leaders and Specialists.
• Ability to manage schedules ensuring safety for clients and staff.
• Experience implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily schedule implementation on one or more units.
• Mentor Youth Development Team Leaders and Specialists.
• Maintain employee schedules ensuring safety for both clients and employees.
• Assist in interview processes and recommend qualified internal candidates.
• Provide structure and on-the-job orientation for new hires.
• Schedule mandatory trainings to meet compliance requirements.
• Ensure SOPs, program policies, and client interventions are followed.
• Provide on-the-job training to Youth Development Operations Leads.
• Interact with and supervise clients during daily activities to ensure safety.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Support facility security with headcounts and room checks.
• Observe client behavior and intervene appropriately.

What You’ll Do

As a Sr. Ops Lead, you will:

• Assists to oversee the implementation of activities which support the daily schedule on one or more units at the facility.
• Mentor and train Youth Development Team Leaders and Youth Development Specialists
• Maintains employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees.
• Cooperates in developing and implementing systems to organize and monitor work activities.
• Participates in the interview process and makes recommendations on qualified candidate among internal applicants for posted positions.
• Provides structure, implements, and facilitates new employee on-the-job orientation.
• Schedules employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met.
• Ensures standard operating procedures, program policy and procedures, and the client interventions process are implemented appropriately.
• Provides effective on-the-job training to the Youth Development Operations Leads.
• Interacts with and helps supervise clients during daily activities in a manner that ensures their safety and security.
• Maintains regular communication with supervisors and co-workers.
• Provides effective facility security including conducting headcounts, room checks, and observing client movement.
• Observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately.
