Job summary

Bank of America in Addison, IL seeks a Sr Operations Team Lead to oversee the Foreclosure Referral Review (FRR) within Mortgage Default & Subservicing Oversight (MDSO). You will lead operational efforts to ensure timely, accurate reviews and remediation of impediments, guiding staff and coordinating with partners to resolve complex issues.

You will monitor workflows, enforce procedures, support leadership reporting, and drive improvements in FRR processes while coaching teammates for proficiency

Qualifications

• Must have current experience in Foreclosure Referral Review (FRR) operations or equivalent.
• Ability to identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex operational issues and exceptions.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration across teams to coordinate work.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight and coordination of FRR activities to support timely and accurate completion of foreclosure referral reviews.
• Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex operational issues and exceptions involving referral eligibility, servicing history, foreclosure impediments, and process execution.
• Provide guidance and technical support to employees regarding complex work, checklist requirements, impediments, exceptions, and requirements.
• Monitor workflow execution, priorities, aging, and escalations; coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, controls, documentation, and execution standards.
• Review exception requests and determine handling within authority, referring complex matters to senior management.
