Job summary

Muncie Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Operations to drive strategy and translate it into actionable plans across manufacturing, distribution, and service.

You will lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to boost productivity, quality, and on-time delivery while optimizing costs and capital investments. This senior role requires extensive leadership across multiple sites, budgeting, and change management, with travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and/or distribution operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience directing multiple operational functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the VP of Operations to align with executive strategy and profitability targets.
• Establish operational goals, KPIs, and performance expectations across all operations functions.
• Develop and execute long-term operational strategies that support growth and continuous improvement.
• Oversee all manufacturing, distribution, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and customer service.
• Monitor performance and adjust plans to meet financial targets.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to support customer needs and growth.
