You will represent American Funds to ensure smooth trading and issue resolution, owning relationships for a defined set of firms while aligning with internal partners to remove obstacles and advance strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive background and deep understanding of the mutual fund industry, including investment, distribution and operations.
• Knowledge of current internal and external policies, practices, trends, technology impacting the department and organization.
• Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to influence across senior leadership.
• Experience negotiating with ease and presenting well-reasoned, sometimes unpopular opinions.
• Proven ability to build relationships, understand partner needs and drive solutions.
