Job summary

PG&E is hiring an Operations Data Analyst to extract and analyze operations data for Substation Operations & System Inspections. You will maintain tools and databases, develop data-driven insights, and support leadership with ad hoc requests.

The role involves building automated data routines, performing statistical analyses, and delivering clear recommendations. Hybrid work from Oakland-area locations with periodic office presence and HQ visits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• 4 years of related work experience required.
• Strong skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI for dashboards and visualization.
• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry and Oracle/Business Objects is preferred.

• Manages complex data analysis projects from request to presentation within budget and timeline.
• Designs data analyses to support strategic decisions and communicates findings clearly to stakeholders.
