Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Business Analyst to support decision-making and strategic operations in a hybrid work model from Fresno. The role emphasizes data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to enable informed business decisions across Electric T&D.

The candidate will engage in process improvement and project work within a 6,500-strong team. Responsibilities include developing reports, conducting what-if analyses, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches and tactics.
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis on moderately complex data models selecting from various reports and data options.
• Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes.
• Understands business needs, develops new reports and performs custom/ad-hoc reporting working independently. Presents findings to various audiences.
• Performs basic research internally and externally.
• Communicates with peers inside and outside the department exchanging ideas or gathering information.
• Participates on project teams.
