Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Coordinator to supervise and coordinate logistics operations onsite in Niagara Falls, NY. The role includes coaching staff, improving processes, and ensuring staff meet company standards and business objectives.

The position requires collaboration with the Logistics Manager, performance evaluations, and leadership to promote a diverse, high-performing team. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• 5+ years in clerical, administrative, accounting and supervisory experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access and data entry; 10-key calculator.
• Solid understanding of intermediate accounting, reconciliation and reporting.
• Supervisory & HR training with wage/hour/labor law knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review all logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, coach, counsel and recognize performance.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and drive process improvements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit-based increases when appropriate.
