Job Title: Senior Operations Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Position Overview

Our Space and Defense Group is seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator to join their team in East Aurora, NY. You will report to the Process Manager and work onsite during the 2nd shift.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of related experience, or
• Associates Degree with at least 5 years of related experience, or
• High School diploma or GED with demonstrated ability to follow instructions, perform basic math, and at least 6 years of related experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign work, identify equipment and staffing needs, support staffing decisions, and prepare work areas to meet departmental output goals.
• Provide technical expertise on complex setups, operations, and regulatory issues, especially where documentation is limited.
• Lead process improvements and Lean initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Support team performance through leadership, facilitation, and coaching.
• Operate machinery and perform hands-on tasks up to 30% of the time to meet department requirements.
• Act as supervisor in the absence of the supervisor.

Salary Range

Buffalo, NY: $75,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and performance.
