Job Description Summary

Operations Leader will provide daily leadership and direction for manufacturing operations supporting the Rotor Assembly and Repair cell’s priorities: safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will be expected to make decisions in a timely manner while demonstrating leadership and consistency in communicating goals, daily assignments, and process changes for the Rotor Assembly and Repair cell. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems and execute production plans for 2nd shift operations that influence short-term and some long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans consistent with the goals and objectives of the department.
  2. Drive performance metrics and track results for key business priorities such as safety, quality, materials management, fulfillment, productivity, and system compliance.
  3. Provide direction and support for assigned production associates and/or SAP specialists, including resource and coverage planning, scheduling overtime, and supporting cell priorities.
  4. Monitor adherence to daily production goals.
  5. Drive cultural change during the rotor repair lean line implementation.
  6. Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments with top quality at the lowest cost, while implementing strategies to reduce cycle times, drive VCP, reduce in-process inventory levels, and improve quality and safety.
  7. Work with cross-functional peers to troubleshoot and resolve technical and quality issues as they arise.
  8. Support, encourage, and facilitate core manufacturing principles by providing adequate time for training and continuous improvement projects.
  9. Maintain and develop Visual Management including support for a 5S program, materials, and metric displays.
  10. Develop and support the growth of all employees.
  11. Support all company workplace policies including attendance and safety objectives.
  12. Work with HR to develop a performance-oriented work environment, including timely performance appraisals, reviews for new employees, and disciplinary actions when needed.
  13. Ensure compliance with business and quality standards.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Ability and willingness to work off-shift to ensure production demands are met.
  2. Flexibility to work across planning and operations supervision responsibilities.
  3. Previous leadership experience.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
  5. Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct Shop Floor Production.

About Us:

For U.S. based candidates, the base pay range is $74,800-$112,200 USD annually, influenced by experience, education, and skills. The position is eligible for a Variable Incentive Bonus of 5%. The company pays geographic differentials in certain areas. This position remains open until at least June 5, 2025.
