Job Details

NexPoint has an immediate opening for a self-motivated, hard-working individual to join our team which will report to the Director of Operations. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the growth of a complex and fast-moving firm. Responsibilities

• Interpretation of relevant data from bank loan credit agreements
• Data processing of investment activities
• Analysis and preparation of investment reporting
• Process amendments, corporate actions, and restructures
• Maintenance of working files for bank loans
• Reconciliation of position data to trustee
• Interaction with Wall Street banks and brokers daily
• Interaction with various divisions of the firm to obtain, process, and decipher information
  
  

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in the financial or accounting field
• Experience with bank loans, equities and derivatives
• Corporate Bank Debt Settlement or Operations experience preferred
• Experience with buy-side or hedge fund operations a plus
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field from a top tier school
• Experience dealing with financial-related data
• Advanced MS Office Skills
• Detail and task-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must operate with a high sense of urgency
• No travel required
