This position is responsible for working in a team to ensure the transmission, settlement, & reconciliation of daily trading for plans and the creation & maintenance of STP processes. Relius STP & Trading experience is necessary to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to operating procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure all jobs are performed accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Monitor Straight-Through Processing (STP) job outputs/notifications to ensure automation is achieving desired results.
- Troubleshoot and work within the Analyst team and other departments as necessary to resolve errors with Straight-Through Processing (STP) jobs.
- Update and add STP jobs using established guidelines based on details from the Analyst team and other departments.
- Complete scheduled Fee processes utilizing established procedures, imports, STP, Crystal Reports, Trade Agent/Custodian websites to ensure timely payments within SLAs.
- Oversee communication with multiple Trade Agent/Custodian Companies regarding trading processes, trade rejects, system interactions, and external websites.
- Ensure all trading files are transmitted within the appropriate deadlines.
- Manage receipt and processing of trading files, ensuring activity is accurately reflected in Relius daily.
- Manage daily reconciliation between the recordkeeping system and Trade Agent/Custodian Companies.
- Review Salesforce tickets for completeness and next steps, documenting thoroughly.
- Participate in long-term projects, defining business requirements and scheduled reporting to management.
- Act as liaison on technical projects between internal teams.
- Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in calls, emails, and projects.
- Research and resolve complex service inquiries.
- Test systems and processes, reporting results within deadlines.
- Run SQL scripts to extract data from Relius database.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation efficiencies.
- Assist in issue resolution to minimize impact on clients and the company.
- Perform scheduled system maintenance, patches, upgrades, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Resolve system and web errors proactively, including extended hours as needed.
- Train team members on Relius, procedures, STP, and system interactions.
- Contribute to system enhancements and process development.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- BA/BS preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 3 years Relius STP experience.
- 8-10 years of financial services operations experience.
- 4-5 years of technology experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ERISA Regulations and Internal Revenue Code preferred.
- Experience running Crystal reports required.
- Knowledge of Relius STP Task Scheduler & Job Queue required.
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with developers on custom applications.
- Ability to manage deadlines and processes for daily tasks, tickets, and projects.
Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 base salary, plus bonus eligibility.
