Job summary

Empower is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Management Senior Manager to drive the company's risk framework and provide independent oversight. You will work with business and support areas to identify risks, assess controls, and drive mitigation.

You will lead assessments, analyze risk indicators, and develop remediation plans while partnering with Senior Management and risk committees to ensure credible challenge and transparent risk reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 10 years in risk management, internal audit, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational risk guidance and credible challenge to the First Line of Defense.
• Lead risk assessments of complex processes and identify control gaps.
• Analyze risk indicators and recommend remediation actions.
• Drive corrective action plans and track remediation.
• Collaborate with business areas to ensure risk controls are integrated.
• Support risk reporting to Senior Management and risk committees.
