First National Bank of Omaha is seeking a Senior Analyst, Operational Risk to lead and perform key ORM program functions, including issue management, governance, and policy development. The role focuses on coordinating investigations, enhancing reporting, and ensuring remediation aligns with bank standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in risk management, strong facilitation skills, and proficiency with Archer GRC and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related risk management experience.
• 5+ years of operational/enterprise risk management or equivalent business unit experience.
• Knowledge of risk/control concepts and risk management functions.
• Excellent meeting facilitation skills with experience building consensus, gaining buy-in, and addressing complex topics within all levels of an organization.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work efficiently in pressure situations and demonstrate a high level of flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to build and develop collaborative working relationships.
• Ability to identify and recommend objective resolutions to problems using risk analysis.
• Ability to present information and reporting in a clear and concise manner; and
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs and business partners to coordinate investigation and resolution of issues.
• Provide issue management support ensuring summaries and corrective actions align with bank standards.
• Track progress to ensure timely remediation and escalate past-due items in Archer.
• Review Issue Files and validate remediations per risk program.
• Participate in the Enterprise Issue Working Group and provide credible challenge on risk ratings and remediation plans.
• Perform omissions testing on rejected investigations and validate Archer data.
• Prepare reporting and enhance trending and analysis for management and committees.
• Support evolution of issue management requirements and program documentation.
• Facilitate materials and reporting for the Operational Risk Management Committee.
