Job summary

Integrated Project Management Company in Chicago seeks a seasoned consultant to lead improvement strategies across manufacturing operations, driving measurable gains in efficiency and performance.

You will work with production, quality, and supply chain teams, delivering data-backed recommendations and executive updates while mentoring project teams in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (preferred industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain or analytics).
• 5–10 years of professional experience; at least 3 years on the production floor and ≥2 years delivering successful manufacturing projects.
• Familiarity with operational excellence methodologies; Lean, Six Sigma; APICS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and lead improvement strategies and initiatives.
• Perform assessments to identify root causes and financial opportunities; create implementation roadmaps.
• Collect and analyze data; document client requirements and design solutions.
• Manage projects within scope and schedule; adhere to IPM standards.
• Lead high-performance project teams and coordinate resources; align goals and deliverables.
• Create and present executive-level and detailed updates; finalize project readouts.
• Develop high-level strategies and process flows; document Final Project Summary.
• Apply consultative skills to prioritize opportunities using IPM methodologies.
• Daily project leadership with production, quality, maintenance, safety, supply chain, sanitation, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with audiences from line operators to executives.
