Job summary

The World Bank Group is seeking an Operational Due Diligence Officer to join the Pension Middle Office team in Washington, DC. You will review investment managers’ operations, coordinate accross audits, and support risk-based oversight of managers and external ODD providers.

You will conduct onsite and virtual reviews, document findings, and help ensure proper governance and controls across asset classes. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years experience.
• Minimum 2 years in operational due diligence for multi-asset portfolios.
• Solid knowledge of investment manager operations, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment managers' control environment across accounting, valuation, reporting, audit, and IT infra.
• Identify operational risk factors and recommend mitigation based on docs and filings.
• Manage relationships with external ODD providers and integrate findings into framework.
• Conduct onsite and virtual ODD reviews, document findings, and follow-up on risks.
