Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a seasoned professional to join the Operational Due Diligence team within Wealth Management Investment Solutions. You will support the insurance carrier ODD process, develop and distribute questionnaires, and assess operational risks across US and EMEA clients.

You will engage with senior executives, collaborate with governance and compliance teams, and deliver analyses to support informed risk decisions in a global wealth management context.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional with minimum of 7 years relevant work experience.
• Experience performing and/or an understanding of how operational due diligence is conducted.
• Related experience in operations, audit, compliance, consulting, and/or insurance.
• Familiarity with insurance company operations is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional organization and analytical skills.
• Investigative skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the insurance carrier operational due diligence process.
• Setting up and disseminating operational due diligence questionnaires across carriers.
• Reviewing and scoring responses to questionnaires.
• Leading and participating in due diligence meetings with insurance carriers (US and EMEA).
• Evaluating and forming opinions on operational risks (organization, service providers, resiliency, info security, compliance).
• Representing the firm in front of C-level executives at insurance carriers.
• Collaborating with control partners in governance, risk, compliance and internal audit.
• Presenting analyses, findings and opinions at Governance Committee meetings.
