Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of two years of operational due diligence experience supporting a multi-asset portfolio.
• Knowledge of investment manager operations, accounting, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment managers' operations, controls, and safeguarding of Pension Plan assets.
• Identify operational risk factors and mitigate through documentation.
• Manage relationships with external ODD providers and integrate findings.
• Conduct onsite and virtual ODD reviews with senior management.
• Synthesize results into comprehensive written reports for committees.
• Present findings to investment committees with reference to best practices.
• Maintain relationships with the investment management industry.
• Advise on operational matters of hedge funds and alternative investments.
