Job summary

Nix is seeking a seasoned OpenText ECM consultant in Boston to lead discovery, design, and implementation of enterprise content management solutions. You will translate business requirements into Content Server configurations, defining metadata, workflows, and access control to support compliant document governance.

In this role you’ll guide junior consultants, map migration plans, and collaborate with ERP and Microsoft 365 stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure ECM solutions across client

Qualifications

• Experience configuring OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM.
• Translate business requirements into Content Server configuration.
• Strong understanding of metadata, attributes, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to map migration, cleansing, and test migration tasks.

Job description

Requirements:

• OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM experience
• Configuration of workspaces, folders, categories, attributes and metadata
• Permissions and role-based access model
• Document lifecycle, versioning and audit trail
• Search configuration and findability principles
• Workflow design and configuration
• Migration preparation: mapping, cleansing, validation and test migration
• Integration understanding with ERP, SharePoint, Office 365, email and file shares
• Understanding of records management, retention and compliance requirements
• Ability to translate business requirements into Content Server configuration

Nice to have:

• OpenText Extended ECM for SAP or other ERP systems
• OpenText Archive Center / Records Management
• OpenText Directory Services / OTDS and SSO
• OpenText WebReports
• OpenText REST API / integrations
• OpenText AppWorks or workflow automation
• Experience with Azure / Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience with information security standards and access governance
• Experience from industrial, mining, manufacturing or engineering environments
