Job summary

Red Hat, LLC is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, develop, scale, and operate our Hybrid OpenShift platforms across on-prem and cloud environments. You will enable self-service for customers, enhance monitoring, and reduce toil through automation.

You will work in a global team, contributing to scalable, reliable infrastructure while advancing SRE practices and collaborating with product engineering to improve platform resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating production services on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Go.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud providers and technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage large-scale infrastructure and platform services including public/cloud and datacenter-based systems.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using scripting (Python/Go) and monitoring/alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Develop expertise in Red Hat OpenShift offerings and CI/CD components (OpenShift Pipelines, Tekton, GitLab).
• Apply GitOps for declarative platform management using ArgoCD.
• Lead on-call support for high-severity incidents and drive blameless postmortems.
