The candidate will lead OpenShift administration, container orchestration, and integration across teams, ensuring secure, scalable cloud-native applications. Travel to labs and fleet facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4 to 8+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• An existing US Security Clearance (Interim SECRET or above).
• Security+/DOD IAT Level II Certification required.
• 2+ years of experience focused on containers, Kubernetes, and DevOps
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Hands on experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ansible, and Python.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of business users and management.
• Pursuant to government requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Responsibilities

• Train and enable current development team in deployment and maintenance of OpenShift and container-native apps.
• Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring).
• Assist in change management for new OpenShift versions, hotfixes, and SysAdmin tasks.
• Design, implement, develop, and integrate software powering infrastructure services for data mediation and machine-to-machine messaging.
• Integrate multi-functional apps into container-based support services.
• Write well designed, testable code meeting requirements and participate in Agile/SCRUM processes.
• Troubleshoot code defects and deploy timely fixes; deliver projects on time and with quality.
• Document code using government CM tools and deploy software into operational environments.
• Some travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations (~2 weeks/year).
