Job summary

Red Hat is seeking a Senior Consultant to deliver enterprise solutions through hands-on implementation and enablement of best practices. You will promote Red Hat technologies to clients and work on-site in Northern Virginia, with frequent travel.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph and reside in a Red Hat-registered state. You will lead projects, mentor teams, and present to senior executives.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience leading technical projects and maintaining documentation
• Ability to set expectations with stakeholders on timelines and scope
• Collaborative work across diverse teams and mentoring capabilities
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in CS or a technical discipline
• Certifications like Security+ and Network+
• Experience delivering cloud platform consulting
• Experience with Linux administration (RHEL or derivative)
• Knowledge of GitLab, Ansible, OpenStack, virtualization and cloud tech
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in building scalable Red Hat solutions
• Travel weekly Monday-Thursday to client locations
• Lead technical projects and maintain documentation
• Mentor teammates and align customer use cases with solutions
