Job summary

Lindahl Reed is seeking an experienced Onsite Construction Manager to support NOAA-led waterfront revitalization in Juneau, Alaska, for the USCGC Storis project. You will oversee day-to-day construction, ensure contractor performance, and maintain compliance with federal standards and UFC criteria.

The role requires deep federal waterfront construction experience, coastal operations knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction management on federal or large-scale projects.
• Experience in waterfront, pier, or marine construction.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ability to work in remote coastal environments.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical reports.
• Must obtain and maintain government site access credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite construction management for NOAA-led USCGC Storis project in Juneau.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedules, budgets, and specs.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders and enforce contract requirements.
• Coordinate with NOAA COR and government stakeholders on status and actions.
• Maintain daily reports, photos, and project records.
• Oversee QA/QC plan implementation and safety program adherence.
• Support closeout activities including punch lists and final inspections.
