Job summary

Lindahl Reed, Inc. seeks an experienced Onsite Construction Manager to support the NOAA-led waterfront revitalization project in Juneau, Alaska.

You will oversee day-to-day construction activities at a federal facility, ensure contractor performance, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of federal or waterfront construction experience, knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and proven ability to coordinate with multiple government stakeholders in remote

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience on federal or comparable large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in waterfront, pier, or marine construction.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS requirements, RFIs, submittal review, and contract modifications.
• Experience in remote coastal or challenging environmental conditions.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and CM platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, onsite construction management oversight for the NOAA-led USCGC Storis project in Juneau, Alaska.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedules, budgets, and technical specs.
• Review/evaluate submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Enforce contract requirements and ensure compliance with federal standards.
• Coordinate with NOAA COR and other government stakeholders on status and actions.
• Maintain daily construction reports, photos, and project records.
