Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Supplier Manager for an on-site role in San Antonio, TX. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor performance to meet program objectives.

The position requires extensive experience in procurement, multi-functional teamwork, and DoD contract familiarity. Travel up to 25% may be required; relocation assistance is not offered. This is a 1st shift, on-site role with a competitive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience with supplier management or procurement practices and processes.
• 6+ years experience negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
• 6+ years managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 6 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
• Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
• Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities
• Develops mitigation plans
• Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities
• Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies
