Boeing is seeking an Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist in Tukwila, WA, San Antonio, TX or Oklahoma City, OK. You will lead supplier relationships and enforce contractual obligations to support defense programs.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B)” team in Tukwila, Washington, San Antonio, Texas, or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities:

• Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
• Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
• Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities
• Develops mitigation plans
• Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities
• Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 6 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 6 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
• More than 6 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 6 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 6 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
• More than 6 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
• More than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Tukwila, WA - $106,250 - $131,250

San Antonio, TX – 99,450 - $122,850

Oklahoma City, OK - $92,650 - $114,450
