Job summary

ECC seeks an Onsite Quality Control Manager for the Portland Tank Repairs project. You will implement and manage the QA/QC program to ensure all work aligns with contract requirements, approved plans, and industry standards.

You will collaborate with project staff, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain compliance throughout all construction phases. The role requires five years of QC experience, with DoD or fuel storage project exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum quality control experience; up to two years as Assistant QC Manager may be counted.
• Experience with fuels-related major construction trades (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Coatings).
• Experience on site with site superintendents or QC managers on similar contracts.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site to ensure construction activities comply with contract specs and project requirements.
• Manage and implement the project Quality Control Plan and related processes.
• Coordinate three-phase control process: Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up inspections.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and testing requirements; maintain QC records.
