Job summary

ECC is seeking a Site Superintendent for the Portland Tank Repairs project site on-site in Portland, OR. The role oversees daily construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and project staff to meet contract requirements and schedules.

You will lead field operations, ensure safety and quality, manage resources, and collaborate with client representatives and management to resolve issues and keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Site Superintendent; up to 2 years as Assistant Site Superintendent may count toward requirement.
• Experience on similar size and type contracts with fuels-related trades.
• Education preferred in Engineering or Construction Management; substitutions allowed for experience.
• Site Superintendent qualifications per UFGS 01 30 00 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership of all construction activities.
• Coordinate field operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage subcontractor activities and daily work schedules.
• Ensure activities comply with contract specs, submittals, and plans.
• Coordinate resources, equipment, materials, and labor to meet objectives.
• Work with Quality Control to implement quality requirements.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with client representatives.
• Monitor progress and resolve construction challenges.
• Document daily construction activities accurately and timely.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and sequencing with stakeholders.
• Support safety program and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
