SpaceXAI in Southaven, MS seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site power generation build efforts for a mission-critical plant. You will own site relationships and coordinate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to drive safe, timely delivery.

You will oversee end-to-end construction activities, including pre-construction through commissioning and energization, while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale power generation, industrial plant, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Deep expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations.
• Proven ability to lead on-site with authority and build trust with vendors, OEMs, partners, and technical teams.
• Experience managing large programs with multiple vendors and dynamic priorities.
• Strong communication skills across disciplines, from field updates to technical escalations.
• Thrive in solving complex, real-time problems with adaptability and composure.
• Be able to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the senior construction representative for the Memphis / Southaven power generation plant, managing relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from pre-construction and site development through mechanical completion, commissioning, energization, and turnover to operations.
• Coordinate multiple vendors across civil, mechanical, process, and electrical scopes — including gas turbine packages, generators, fuel gas and BOP systems, e-houses, protection, and 34.5 kV collect/export.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to schedule, quality, safety, and operational readiness for first fire, synchronization, and commercial operation.
• Drive progress on generation and BOP construction, resolving field roadblocks so turbine, electrical, and process work stay sequenced and on track.
• Align construction schedules with SpaceXAI’s generation and infrastructure goals through cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and central construction.
• Partner with engineering and operations to guide commissioning, start-up, and punchlist close-out; resolve issues that block energization or generation.
• Deliver regular updates using well-designed KPIs and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure the project meets technical and quality standards in the base design, including plant electrical, mechanical, and process systems.
• Perform quantity take-offs and field verifications to monitor progress and support reporting.
• Manage change orders, identifying solutions to minimize unnecessary changes and control costs.
• Lead site safety initiatives, including LOTO, NFPA 70E / arc-flash, hot work, and a consistent construction safety culture.
• Adapt to evolving plant needs, supporting cross-functional partners as required, regardless of original job scope.
