Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking Leads and Senior Piping Designers to join our on-site teams in Houston, TX and other locations. You will lead piping design activities, develop 3D models, prepare isometrics with BOM, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to deliver complex capital projects in pharmaceutical facilities.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in piping design, 5+ years in lead roles, and strong knowledge of ASME B31.3. On-site experience and the ability to mentor teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years as a Piping Designer in an engineering design firm.
• Piping Leads require 5 years of Lead experience.
• On-site pharma facility experience preferred.
• Experience with ASME B31.3 for Pharmaceutical Design.
• Experience with laser scanning back-modeling and field obstructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping design activities ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Prepare 3D piping design and equipment modeling; develop isometric drawings with BOM.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design with discipline Leads and Project Manager.
• Mentor design teams and improve piping workflows and quality.
• Review construction progress in the field and guide client model reviews.
