Job summary

Global Product Software/Cybersecurity/Network firm seeks a Principal Technical Support Engineer for on-site work at military bases in the US. You will be the subject-matter expert on network security, resolving complex issues and guiding customer teams remotely when needed.

The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance, commutable to Ft Meade/DC area, and US citizenship. Six-figure base salary with a 10% bonus and RSUs are offered along with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/ECE with 5+ years in service delivery or technical support.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, BGP, MPLS and NetFlow fundamentals essential.
• Experience with DDoS mitigation, network security, and lab/test environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to Enterprise customers and Government/Military sites.
• Serve as trusted advisor on network security products and deployment issues.
• Design, troubleshoot, and resolve complex security product deployments.
• Test configurations in lab environments and replicate customer setups.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and product teams on issues and features.
• Deliver technical workshops and guidance to customer staff as needed.
• Travel to customer sites and international events as required.
