Job summary

System One, based in Washington DC, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, troubleshoot, and modernize a mission-critical enterprise network for a federal customer.

The ideal candidate holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI access, with 10+ years of hands-on IT and network experience, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience with hands-on networking.
• Extensive expertise in enterprise LAN/WAN, Cisco routing and switching.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access or eligibility.
• Cisco CCNP certification and DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher.
• Ability to work independently and lead engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into network designs and upgrades.
• Design, deploy, configure, and optimize enterprise networks.
• Provide Tier 3/4 troubleshooting for routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless.
• Develop documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
