Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform complex and routine repairs across a large resident community. You will conduct inspections, respond to service requests, and help maintain safety and quality standards as part of a collaborative team.

Minimum 4+ years of facility maintenance, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid CA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of facility maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification
• Preferred 1 mechanical certification: Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, or similar.
• Valid California driver’s license; continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-house, complex and routine repairs/replacements throughout the community.
• Analyzes/maintains mechanical systems and vendor oversight of equipment PM and repair.
• Diagnose problems and recommend repairs.
• Maintains common areas and grounds per company standards; identifies hazards.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians with less experience.
• Pursue safety compliance and participate in safety training.
