Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive large IT initiatives for the Utility Technologies Solutions team, with focus on electric utility operations, modernization, and grid initiatives. Location is onsite in South Plainfield, NJ, three days per week.

The role requires PMP certification, 8+ years of PM experience, and strong governance, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership skills. Salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, Business Administration or related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is required.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, risk, governance, and PMO reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of technology projects, ensuring delivery within timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Oversee project governance activities, including planning, milestones, deliverables, risk, and scope changes.
• Coordinate with business units, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive execution and alignment.
