Job summary

The James Allen Companies, Inc. seeks an Onsite Safety Manager for electrical construction on a mission-critical project in the Reno area.

You will plan, implement, and oversee safety programs, ensuring OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance and strong safety accountability across field operations. You will lead safety program management, electrical safety, training, incident response, and field support, collaborating with project teams, general contractors, and partners to minimize risk and protect

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction safety experience preferred.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and energized work practices.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Management: Administer and enforce IIPP and safety plans.
• Electrical Safety: Ensure ESWC, LOTO compliance, EEWP process, arc flash labeling and PPE.
• Training & Employee Development: Deliver NFPA 70E training, certify and maintain records; lead toolbox talks.
• Incident Management: Investigate injuries and incidents; develop corrective actions; maintain OSHA logs.
• Project & Field Support: Pre-job planning, safety planning for upcoming work, coordinate with GC/partners.
