Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultants to provide on-site safety leadership for construction, industrial, and energy projects across the United States.

As a boots-on-the-ground safety resource, you will partner with project teams, craft professionals, and owners to foster a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and deliver measurable outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience in construction/industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs.
• Experience conducting field audits, inspections, safety observations, training, and corrective actions management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic safety reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field safety observations, inspections, and audits.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions with project teams.
• Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Prepare safety reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings.
