Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
• Minimum 6 years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting.
• Registration or designation in one or more of the following technical areas: Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional or Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job site inspections to monitor conformance with construction and fire safety standards and coordinate with the project management team to help improve safety on the jobsite.
• Inspect site to determine if conditions meet the required Federal, state and local standards and documents any unsafe conditions.
• Provides comprehensive accident investigations that include interview, photographs and written report.
• Coordinates onsite safety meetings and appropriate tool box talks. May supervise onsite staff.
