James G. Davis Construction (DAVIS) seeks an experienced Superintendent to provide on-site leadership for field management and administration, coordinating with clients, design teams, and trade partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes establishing project parameters, enforcing safety and quality control, and maintaining strong client relationships while promoting the DAVIS brand. Strong supervision and communication skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Nine (9) years of construction operations experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field and five (5) years of progressing supervisory construction experience.
• Certifications for CPR / First Aid and OSHA 30-hour
• Proficiency with computer-based scheduling software, spreadsheet applications, project management software, and virtual construction software
• Knowledge and understanding of sustainable construction (ex. LEED)
• Ability to manage a team and lead a project to a successful outcome

Responsabilidades

• Leads field meetings with internal and external stakeholders to align goals, timelines and issues, maintaining strong communication across all parties involved
• Partners with project management to lead the project team, ensuring responsibilities are clear and tasks are delegated effectively
• Creates and implements quality control processes and proactively manages risks to meet milestones and standards
• Implements and enforces EHS policies, coordinates inspections, and mitigates risk to maintain compliance
• Identifies safety hazards and quality concerns, addresses issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance
• Develops and enforces site-specific safety plans and ensures trade partners follow safety protocols
• Manages project logistics, schedules, and documentation to ensure on-time delivery and closeout
