Gallagher Bassett is seeking an onsite safety liaison focused on construction and fire safety to inspect job sites and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. You will work with project management to improve safety on the jobsite and document conditions with thorough investigations.

Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science and at least 6 years in safety consulting; certification like CIH, CSP, or PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.
• Minimum 6 years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting.
• Registration or designation in CIH, CSP, or PE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job site inspections to monitor conformance with safety standards and coordinate with project management to improve safety on the jobsite.
• Document unsafe conditions and perform comprehensive accident investigations with interviews, photographs, and written reports.
• Coordinate with clients and regulators, participate in loss control inspections, and lead onsite safety meetings and tool box talks.
• May supervise onsite staff.
