Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience with large engineering, procurement, and construction contracts and processes.
• Strong technical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Proficient with computer including scheduling programs, spreadsheets, databases, and project management applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through final scope, cost, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities for the Urquhart Project.
• Establish and maintain an uncompromising safey culture across all field activities.
• Manage EPC contractor and subcontractor execution, productivity, quality, and performance.
• Oversee construction sequencing, system turnover, commissioning, and startup planning.
• Direct commissioning and startup activities to achieve safe and reliable system operation.
• Lead readiness reviews, operational acceptance testing, performance testing, and commercial operation activities.
• Coordinate project interfaces between construction, engineering, operations, and maintenance organizations.
• Monitor and forecast site safety, schedule, cost, quality, and commissioning performance.
• Drive resolution of field issues, design conflicts, startup challenges, and schedule recovery plans.
• Provide executive management with regular site progress reports, risk assessments, and recovery recommendations.
• Ensure successful turnover of completed systems and final handoff to Operations.
