Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking an Onsite Technical Lead for the OneShield PAS in Bala Cynwyd, PA. This hybrid role focuses on leading AMS for a P&C insurance environment, with responsibilities spanning production support, enhancements, and release management.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software development experience, deep OneShield expertise, and strong Java/Spring skills. You will mentor teams, perform code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development with at least 8+ years on OneShield.
• Strong hands-on OneShield Designer and Policy Administration experience.
• Proven production support, maintenance, enhancements, and release management for OneShield apps.
• Strong Java, Spring, REST APIs, SOAP, JPA/Hibernate, and microservices skills.
• Experience leading onsite/offshore teams in an Agile environment.
• Solid understanding of P&C insurance policy lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite Technical Lead for OneShield PAS; manage production support and incidents; ensure SLA compliance.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, coordinate fixes, and implement preventive measures.
• Design and implement enhancements to OneShield PAS based on business requirements.
• Lead customization of OneShield components: Workflow, Rules, Rating, Data Modeling, UI, Transformations.
• Oversee design, development, testing, deployment, and release support across environments.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and security guidelines are followed.
• Mentor onsite and offshore teams; coordinate with stakeholders and product owners.
• Collaborate with QA, Architects, and Business to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support upgrades, patches, and environment management; document technical designs and procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement.
