Job summary

Merck seeks an Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead (TSL) to educate and support treatment sites across the New England geography, ensuring onboarding, readiness, and smooth end-to-end treatment journeys.

The role emphasizes operational and process support, cross-functional coordination, and timely issue resolution, with ~50% travel and residency in ME/NH/NY/VT region. Will coordinate with field oncology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare or life sciences experience.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record of working with provider organizations and operational stakeholders to implement workflows for complex therapies.
• Ability to operate effectively in 'white space' environments with evolving processes, unclear paths, and multiple dependencies.
• Strong operational problem-solving skills, including identifying process friction points and coordinating next steps.
• Ability to build and develop meaningful customer relationships with operational stakeholders at treatment sites.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact across cultures and disciplines.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to travel ~50%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and readiness support for product treatment sites.
• Deliver process-focused education using approved resources for initial site implementation and ongoing support.
• Ensure operational capabilities and knowledge for consistent end-to-end treatment journey.
• Serve as product operational SME for assigned sites; advise on processes, operations, and logistics.
• Act as primary contact for operational issues; triage and coordinate resolution across functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams to ensure coordinated engagement.
• Build trusted relationships with site leaders; provide reliable operational support.
• Use data and dashboards to assess site metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Synthesize site feedback to help HQ improve workflows, resources, and education.
