Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking an NPC Scheduler Supervisor to lead the New Patient Coordinator team at Texas Oncology in Ft Worth, TX. You will guide scheduling workflows, referrals, and records retrieval to ensure timely patient access and exceptional service.

Ideal candidates bring at least five years in healthcare scheduling with leadership experience, EMR proficiency, and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement. Travel across the region is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of healthcare scheduling, referral management, patient access, or medical practice experience.
• Minimum two years of leadership, supervisory, lead, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Oncology or specialty practice experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and workflow of the New Patient Coordinator team.
• Provide coaching, training, and supervision to NPCs.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and access metrics and drive improvement.
• Oversee referral management, scheduling, and records retrieval processes.
• Collaborate with providers and site leaders to address scheduling barriers.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform NPC duties when needed and support regional initiatives.
