Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking an NPC Scheduler Supervisor to lead the New Patient Coordinator team at the Texas Oncology Fort Worth, TX clinic. You will guide scheduling workflows, referrals, and patient access initiatives, while partnering with clinicians and site leadership to ensure timely patient care.

The ideal candidate has healthcare scheduling and leadership experience, oncology background preferred, and proficiency with EMR and MS Office. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of healthcare scheduling, referral management, patient access, or medical practice experience.
• At least two years of leadership, supervisory, lead, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Oncology or specialty practice experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, performance, and workflow of the New Patient Coordinator team.
• Provide guidance, coaching, training, and operational support for referrals and scheduling.
• Monitor productivity, quality, service, and access metrics; identify workflow improvements.
• Oversee referral management, scheduling operations, and patient access initiatives.
• Collaborate with providers, site leaders, and clinical teams to address barriers.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention activities.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform New Patient Coordinator duties when needed.
