Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of healthcare patient access experience or 4 years of experience in an oncology medical office.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information about customer complaints professionally.
• Gives direct feedback between team members.
• Anticipates overload and plans resources.
• Supports scheduling with pre-service insurance verification.
• Chooses effective communication method for audience.
• Responds to daily problems with urgency and accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and protects guests/environment.
• Explains insurance benefits and patient liability; handles referrals.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
